UNIVERSITIES – COMMUNITIES: STRENGTHENING COOPERATION

General Objective:
Enhance universities’ social role by boosting university-community engagement, leading to the creation of state policy supporting universities’ third mission, ensuring social cohesion, resilience, sustainability, and prosperity in Ukraine.

Specific Objectives:

  • Develop national policy on enhancing universities’ third mission and community-university cooperation.
  • Create model strategies for university-community relations focused on civic activism, equality, and inclusion, piloting them in HEIs and communities.
  • Promote cooperation between target groups and stakeholders based on European practices in inclusion, gender equality, cybersecurity, digitalization, ecology, and civic education.
  • Increase social responsibility and community engagement by raising universities’ capacities in community development and local leadership.
  • Foster cooperation through research/experience exchange visits, training programs, and mobilities.
  • Ensure qualitative project implementation in line with European best practices in academic content and project management. • Ensure proper cooperation among stakeholders for timely project implementation and reporting.
